Jazz standard bass line transcriptions 

The following bass transcription is based on a classic jazz chord progression.

The bass line transciption shows an example of the II V I in major modulating to the II V I in minor.

A classic jazz standard modulation used in all styles of jazz from bebop  to cool .

Example 2 shows another classic jazz standard chord progression in  C minor.

This progression is often played with a latin feel in the A section and swing in the Bridge.
